โรงงานไม้ระเบิด! – เอเอฟพี รายงานวันที่ 1 พ.ค. ว่า เมื่อเวลาราว 08.00 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นของเวียดนาม เกิดเหตุระเบิดที่โรงงานแปรรูปไม้ของ บริษัท บิ่ญ มินห์ วู้ด โปรดักชั่น ในจังหวัดด่งนาย ทางตะวันออก

เฉียงใต้ เบื้องต้นมีผู้เสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 6 ราย อีก 7 รายได้รับบาดเจ็บ

ด้านสื่อเวียดนามระบุว่าช่วงเกิดเหตุมีคนงานราวๆ 30 คนกำลังทำงานอยู่ในโรงงาน ส่วนสาเหตุมาจากเครื่องจักรหม้อไอน้ำทำงานผิดปกติ
และเกิดขึ้นไม่กี่นาทีหลังจากคนงานซ่อมหม้อไอน้ำเสร็จ นอกจากนี้แรงระเบิดทำให้โครงสร้างหลังคาบางส่วนของโรงงานพังถล่มลงมา

โรงงานไม้ระเบิด! – The explosion resulted in the deaths of six individuals on the scene. According to a local official, seven others were injured in the incident. At the scene, part of the wood facility had collapsed, with corrugated iron roofs strewn about.
